Classic Vanilla – You just can’t beat it! A delicate and classy cake layered with home-made raspberry jam and buttercream.

American Red Velvet – soft velvety crumb with chocolate and vanilla flavours. This is great with cream cheese frosting for that truly decadent American taste.

Traditional Fruit Cake – Made with real butter and boozy fruit, yum! You can have this with extra cherries if you like, and with or without nuts.

Zesty Lemon – Drizzled with lemon syrup and layered with tangy lemon curd and buttercream.

Chocolate Heaven – rich and moist chocolate cake layered with your choice of buttercream or dark chocolate ganache truffle. These fillings can be laced with your favorite tipple if you like; Rum, Bailey’s, Kahlua, and Cointreau work beautifully.

Carrot Cake – It’s not as healthy as it sounds, but it is exceedingly tasty! You can choose whether you want pecans or walnuts added, and cream cheese vanilla frosting or zesty orange buttercream.

Chocolate Orange – decadent and delicious moist chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate orange ganache layers.

Gluten–free cakes – I offer a range of gluten-free and vegan cakes in a variety of flavours. Please contact me to discuss your individual requirements.

I am always trying out new recipes and flavor combinations, so if you favorite cake isn’t listed, please get in touch and I’ll do my best to arrange it!

How  much  cake  do  I  need?

For wedding cakes we usually say that 1 portion is a 2 x 1” slice of sponge cake, and a 1 x 1’ slice for fruit cakes. You can see how this relates to cakes sizes in the table below. If you want a tall beautiful 5 tier cake, but you just don’t need that much actual cake, we can always use cake dummies in some of the layers; this will reduce the cost, but certainly won’t reduce the impact!

My cake prices are the same for wedding and celebration cakes – when I got married, price increases “because it’s a wedding” made me a bit cross! I put the same love and care into each of my cakes regardless of the occasion. The basic prices shown below are for a simply decorated sugarpasted cake – the actual cost of your cake will depend on the size of cake and any additional detail you would like, such as sugar flowers, hand-painting, frills, bows and figures.

For large cakes (over £100), a £50 deposit is required to secure the date. The balance of your order will be due two weeks before your occasion. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. For all other celebration cakes, payment by cash or cheque is required one week before the date of delivery or collection.
